In addition to this specific campaign, there are fixed blood donation points in Tenerife. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the fixed point located on Méndez Núñez street is open Monday to Friday from 9:15 to 20:15 (except holidays). At the San Isidro Health Center in Granadilla de Abona (Arguayoda street), donations can be made Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 14:15 to 19:30 (except holidays), with reserved parking spaces for donors.
Within the hospital network, the University Hospital of the Canary Islands allows donations without an appointment from Sunday to Friday and on holidays from 8:30 to 21:30, and on Saturdays from 8:30 to 14:30 and from 15:30 to 20:00. The University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria also offers donations without an appointment from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 20:00 and on Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00 (except holidays).
Other donation points include Hospiten Bellevue in Puerto de la Cruz (by appointment, Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 14:30) and the San Juan de Dios Hospital on the road from Santa Cruz to La Laguna (Monday to Friday from 10:30 to 12:30).
To be eligible to donate blood, individuals must meet basic requirements such as being between eighteen and 65 years old (up to sixty for a first-time donation), weighing over fifty kilograms, being in generally good health, and not being pregnant.
