The municipality of San Miguel de Abona is gearing up to celebrate its Patron Saint Festivities in honor of San Miguel Arcángel with the highly anticipated Grand Gala for the Election of the Romera Mayor. The event is set to take place on Friday, September 18th, at 9:00 PM in the iconic Plaza de la Iglesia Matriz.
A total of ten candidates, each representing various neighborhoods and areas within the municipality, will vie for the coveted title. The contestants are: Aldana Agüero Estévez (El Portillo), Elisabeth Candelaria Bello Santos (Las Zocas), Nora Touali Cabrera (El Roque), Joselyne Hernández González (Tamaide), Daniela Rodríguez Gómez (Aldea Blanca), Ainara Luis Marrero (La Asomada), Ariana Pérez Delgado (San Miguel Casco), Aroa Gómez Hernández (Aldea Blanca), Candela Aguiar González (Las Zocas), and Silvia Marichal Santos (El Frontón).
The gala, promising an evening of celebration and entertainment, will be directed by Ángel Pérez and presented by Alexis Hernández. Humor will be provided by comedian Kike Pérez, while musical performances will feature the group Grupo Vinomio Folk and artist Isabel González.
