The 54th edition of La Tajea also features a special report on the founding of CL Chimbesque, recognized for its support of grassroots categories and its role as a school of values. Additionally, it includes a piece on the figure of Doña Petra, a local resident whose life is intertwined with the identity of San Miguel de Abona, known for paving the way and preserving local memory.
Mayor Arturo González stated, “La Tajea is a meeting space with our history, our traditions, and the people who have contributed to building the identity of San Miguel de Abona.” For her part, the Councilor for Culture, Pilar Méndez, added, “each new edition represents an opportunity to continue discovering who we are as a people and to value the work of those who research, document, and share our cultural legacy.”
