The municipality of San Miguel de Abona is hosting a new edition of the Mental Health Conference under the slogan “San Miguel te cuida” (San Miguel Cares for You). The initiative, organized by the Department of Health, aims to raise awareness about the importance of emotional well-being in the context of International Mental Health Day, celebrated on October 10th.
The conference will take place at the Museum of History Casa de El Capitán and will cover various topics over three days. On October 7th, the session will focus on the question ‘What is happening to us?’. On October 8th, the topic will be ‘Childhood, adolescence, and the new challenges of educating’. Finally, on October 9th, the reflection will revolve around ‘Modern love: have we forgotten how to love?’.
The event will feature the participation of psychologists Laura Delgado, Grecia Teixeira, and Eloísa Miranda, who will share their knowledge and perspectives with attendees.
