The San Juan Bautista Parish in Arucas is hosting the III edition of Temple Heritage, a three-day event exploring the past, present, and future of its emblematic stained glass windows.

Under the title 'Labrantes de la luz - El arte de las vidrieras' (Carvers of Light - The Art of Stained Glass), these sessions, which began on Monday and will run until Wednesday, aim to enhance the value of the temple's stained glass, recognized as an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Government of Canarias. The objective is to transform the parish into a meeting point for dialogue on these distinctive elements of Arucas' heritage.
Monday's program included a presentation by Ricardo Hernanz, titled 'Maumejean: a century of light', which started at 8:00 PM. On Tuesday, April 14, at the same time, two interventions will take place: Manuel Bernabé will discuss 'Stained Glass: art and conservation', while Octavio Vega will present an acoustic study commissioned by the parish itself, highlighting the vulnerability of the stained glass to certain environmental factors.
The closing of this edition will be on Wednesday, also at 8:00 PM. The final presentations will be given by Natanael García, with 'The gospel is light', and by Fernando López and Alejandro Beautell, who will present 'Art, architecture and future', thus concluding the series of conferences.
