Cyclist injured after falling into a ravine in Arucas

A 40-year-old cyclist has sustained moderate injuries after falling into a ravine while riding on a street in Arucas, Gran Canaria, on Saturday afternoon.

The incident occurred on Doctor Fleming street in the municipality of Arucas in the early afternoon. The regional 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center reported that the 40-year-old cyclist fell into a ravine.
Personnel from the Canary Emergency Service attended to the injured cyclist at the scene and transported him by ambulance to the Doctor Negrín hospital. The accident victim's injuries were diagnosed as moderate, barring complications.
Officers from the Local Police also responded to the scene of the accident to carry out the necessary proceedings.
