Two people were arrested in Telde after a police intervention at the Las Remudas football field, which resulted in one officer injured and damage to a police vehicle.

The events occurred around 10:30 PM on Thursday, when officers established a operation to locate a man inside the sports venue. Upon attempting to detain him, the suspect allegedly assaulted one of the officers and incited the present spectators to hinder the action.
A group of attendees began to confront the police and throw objects at them, prompting a request for backup from other units. With the reinforcement, the arrest of the man wanted by judicial authority was achieved.
Subsequently, during efforts to identify those responsible for throwing objects in the surrounding areas, officers located a second man in Las Remudas park. He was recognized as one of the individuals who allegedly threw objects at the police and encouraged others to do the same, leading to his arrest for alleged crimes against authority.
As a consequence of the disturbances, the officer assaulted during the initial arrest had to be treated at a medical center, suffering bruises, skin abrasions, and hematomas. The unrest also caused damage to a police vehicle hit by thrown objects.
