Presenter Jesús Vázquez hosted the second special of TVE's 'La casa de la música', featuring 24 artists, messages of support for Palestine, and a moving tribute to the channel's trajectory.

TVE's music program, 'La casa de la música', celebrated its second edition with the participation of 24 artists. The special, aired last night, was notable for its messages of support for Palestine and a journey through the history of music on Spanish public television.
The evening began with a performance by Manuel Carrasco and his strong anti-war message, followed by an interview with Raphael, who shared his experience of suffering from a cerebral lymphoma during the recording of a Christmas special in 2024.
Jesús Vázquez, at the helm of the studio, connected the performances with key moments from TVE's 70-year history. Artists such as Mónica Naranjo, José Mercé, and Chanel offered their interpretations, some without prior introduction and others after historical summaries.
Support for Palestine was a constant in several performances, with some artists praising Spain's and TVE's stance in the conflict. This message was in addition to the one broadcast by the channel at the start of Eurovision, calling for 'Peace and Justice for Palestine'.
The presenter confessed to feeling "nervous" before interviewing Ana Belén, whom he considers an "idol". Vázquez revealed that he had been told he would admire her even more after the interview, which proved true, leading to an emotional hug between them.
