The incident occurred around 4:26 PM, as reported by the Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Security Coordination Center (CECOES) 112. A call alerted about the need for urgent medical assistance on the beach.
Personnel from the Beach Lifesaving Service and the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) were quickly dispatched to the scene. Lifeguards began resuscitation maneuvers upon confirming the woman was in cardiac arrest.
SUC medical staff continued with basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, successfully restoring the woman's pulse.

After being stabilized, the woman was transferred in critical condition via a medicalized ambulance to the Gran Canaria Doctor Negrín University Hospital. Local Police facilitated the journey by escorting the medical vehicle to expedite its arrival at the hospital.
