The Symphony Hall of the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium will be the stage for 'La Gala de Oro de Cruz Roja' (Cruz Roja's Golden Gala), a new charity event organized by Cruz Roja in Las Palmas. The main objective is to support the organization's humanitarian work and assist vulnerable individuals in the province.
Singer-songwriter Gara Alemán, one of the participating artists, highlighted the event's importance during the press conference: 'The best thing about this gala is that, besides having beautiful performances, it helps people who truly need support. We must fill the Auditorium to enjoy a magical night.'
The artistic lineup includes comedians such as Kike Pérez, Darío López, and Yanely Hernández; magician Raúl Magic; folklorists Domingo «El Colorao» and Ayla Rodríguez; singer Marilia Monzón; and verse-maker Yeray Rodríguez, who improvised words of support during the presentation.
“"This work crystallizes in the face of a world that causes embarrassment, let's see if the people get involved, and we fill the hall, to celebrate the Golden Gala of the Red Cross"
The gala will be hosted by eight presenters with experience in events and media: Rosi Polín, Daniel Suárez, Javi López, Sonsoles Castillo, Wendy Fuentes, Paco Luis Quintana, Carlos Castilla, and Mercedes Ortega.
The provincial president of Cruz Roja, Isaac Díaz Sosa, noted that the June 13th event will also serve to raise awareness about the organization's social projects. Resources will be set up near the auditorium, such as an ambulance, to inform attendees about the destination of humanitarian aid and volunteering opportunities.
The event, co-organized with the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, will last approximately two hours and is expected to feature surprise appearances by prominent figures from the archipelago. Each attendee will receive three tickets for Cruz Roja's Golden Draw, which offers over seven million euros in prizes.
