The Gran Canaria event, scheduled for June 26th and 27th, will feature 109 competitors in the speed category and 15 in regularity sport, promising two days of intense action on the roads of the municipality and its surroundings.
The list of favorites is led by last edition's winners, Enrique Cruz and Yeray Mújica, who will compete in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. However, the competition will be fierce, with top-tier contenders such as Alexey Lukyanuk and Yury Kulikov, provisional championship leaders, returning with a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2.
Other notable contenders include Yeray Lemes and Aitor Cambeiro in a Citroën C3 Rally2, and Sergio Fuentes and Teco Hernández in another Skoda Fabia. Also participating are Manuel Mesa and Dailos González with a Ford Fiesta R5 MKII, and the 2023 champions, Miguel Suárez and Eduardo González, once again in a Citroën C3 Rally2.
In the Las Palmas Rally Championship, notable entries include Benjamín Avella and Agustín Alemán with an Alpine A110 GT+, and Raúl Quesada and Dani Sosa with a Hyundai i20 R5. The Porsche 911 GT3 Cup driven by Iván Armas and Bernardino Guerra, a driver with previous wins in this event, will also be a major attraction.
The Rally4 category will feature teams like Yoday and Daniela Betancort, provincial leaders with a Peugeot 208, alongside Alejandro Martín – Cristina Cazorla and Ulises Avella – Briseida Ramos.
The Clio Trophy Canarias makes its debut in Gran Canaria with eight teams in Renault Clio Rally5, led by Walter Delgado – Alejandro Rodríguez, along with Kevin Kipar – David Dorta and Noé Armas – Efraín González. Promotional championships such as ProAuto Panadería La Madera, Bardhal Cup ProAuto, BMW Power, 1.6 Faroga, Enma 2RM Servicios, N3, and the FALP Promotion Trophy add an additional 62 teams.
In regularity sport, 13 teams will compete in medium-high and medium-low categories, featuring classic vehicles like the BMW 323i, Ford Escort RS 2000, BMW 318, and Renault 12 Gordini.
The organization has confirmed the verification schedule: the final 40 teams will undergo technical and administrative checks on Thursday, June 25th, starting at 7:00 PM at the Estadio de Gran Canaria, where the vehicles will be secured overnight. Other participants can complete pre-checks from 5:00 PM at Toyota City (Miller Bajo).
The 50th Rallye Ciudad de Telde celebrates its half-century of history with record participation and a high-caliber grid, promising excitement and spectacle in one of Gran Canaria's most emblematic motorsport events.
