Américo Vespucio street, in Salinetas, has once again been the center of criticism due to the poor condition of its road surface. A car sustained significant material damage after falling into one of the deep potholes present on the road, near the Melenara ravine. This incident occurred just days after the newspaper [Telde Actualidad] alerted about the deterioration of this coastal road, following neighborhood complaints about the proliferation of potholes and the risk to traffic.

Almost simultaneously, in the opposite lane heading towards the boat roundabout, a chain collision involving three vehicles took place. The Local Police of Telde had to intervene in both incidents, which occurred practically at the same spot. These events caused temporary traffic complications in the area.

Fortunately, both incidents resulted only in material damage and minor neck discomfort. However, residents and drivers in the area have been demanding urgent action on this road for days to prevent more serious accidents.
