The San Gregorio neighborhood, in Telde, hosts this Wednesday, July 15, the Mobile Recycling Point of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, an initiative to promote recycling and raise awareness about environmental care.

The Avenida Alcalde Alejandro Castro Jiménez will be the location for the recycling container, which will remain operational until 8:00 PM. This action, part of the collaboration between the Telde City Council, the insular institution, Ecoembes, and Ecovidrio, aims to provide citizens with a space to deposit various types of waste free of charge.
In addition to the main container, an additional unit will be installed for the collection of clean construction and demolition waste from minor works, excluding that generated by companies. The objective is to curb uncontrolled dumping and promote environmental awareness in all districts of Telde.
Residents can deposit a wide range of domestic waste in their corresponding compartments, including used cooking oils, small electronic devices, printer toners, textiles, footwear, X-rays, batteries, fluorescent lamps, low-energy light bulbs, varnishes, paints, solvents, aerosols, car batteries, coffee capsules, plastic caps, and eyeglasses.
