The party led by Santiago Abascal aims to replicate its strategy from other autonomous communities in Andalusia, where they have secured leadership of portfolios related to the primary sector. Vox's spokesperson in Andalusia, Manuel Gavira, met with primary sector representatives in Córdoba, denouncing their precarious situation and asserting that "the primary sector does not need desk discourse."
Gavira stated that Vox was the only party to focus on agriculture, livestock, and fishing during the election campaign. According to the Vox leader in the region, those working in the fields and the sea have conveyed their demands for "freedom to produce more" and direct aid, indicating that the sector's situation "is getting worse and worse."
“"Those measures that exist in other parts of our nation are necessary in Andalusia. What they demand from us is help and measures that benefit them, that facilitate their work."
Although Vox insists on prioritizing measures, in other communities such as Aragón, Extremadura, and Castilla y León, they have obtained key ministries. In Andalusia, acting president Juanma Moreno maintains that the situation is different and that his party has a "solvent majority" to govern alone, although negotiations with Vox continue under "maximum secrecy."
Agricultural organizations such as Asaja, COAG, and UPA have already expressed their desire for "continuity of decision-making and management teams" and applauded the work of the teams, showing reluctance towards a potential change in the Ministry of Agriculture.
