For 90 minutes, participants will immerse themselves in a narrative that blends fictional elements with the historical context of the emblematic building. The activity, promoted by the Autonomous Body of Culture (OAC), aims to offer an innovative heritage experience, moving away from conventional tours.
Attendees will need to observe, compare, ask questions, and deduce to advance the story, becoming active participants in the experience. The theatrical route will incorporate characters, documents, and symbolic clues specific to the building, allowing the public to discover Santa Cruz's heritage interactively.
The activity, led by historian Néstor Verona and featuring Antonio Conejo, Eduardo Feria, and Sigrid Ojel, will have a limited capacity of 40 people per session. Tickets can be collected at the Masonic Temple itself starting at 7:00 PM, one hour before the experience begins at 8:00 PM.
The mayor of Santa Cruz, José Manuel Bermúdez, highlighted that such initiatives are key to bringing the building closer to citizens, combining historical dissemination and participation. For his part, the Councilor for Culture and Historical Heritage, Santiago Díaz Mejías, emphasized the public's active role during the tour.
This experience is part of the weekend's cultural programming, and 'Mystery in the Temple' is expected to return on future dates, although upcoming weekends have not yet been scheduled. The initiative is supported by a specific contract from the OAC for its creation and execution.
