The Development Society of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has progressed in organizing Plenilunio 2026, an event set to take place from Friday, October 2nd, to Sunday, October 4th. The analyzed contracts amount to at least 420,000 euros before taxes, although a significant portion is still in the tendering phase.
Two contracts have already been finalized: one for the organization of children's play centers and another for a nighttime show featuring 500 drones. The remaining services, including private security, electrical installations, structures, furniture, advertising, chemical toilets, cleaning, and health assistance, are currently out for tender, with offer submission deadlines closing between August 21st and 25th.
The highest value contract awarded is for the Drone Light Show 500 Los Cuatro Elementos, costing 79,950 euros to Umiles Entertainment S.L. This drone show will take place along the Maritime Avenue and the port of Santa Cruz. The procedure was justified due to exclusive intellectual and industrial property rights, with Umiles' offer being the only one received.
The comprehensive service for play centers and children's activities, divided into four lots, has been awarded to Socioeduca SLU for a total of 81,978.23 euros before taxes. This service includes bouncy castles, workshops, games, and monitors, and will primarily take place in various city locations on Saturday, October 3rd, and Sunday, October 4th.
The pending contracts amount to an estimated value of 258,581 euros before taxes. Among these are private security (80,216 euros), temporary electrical installations (98,840 euros), structures and furniture (96,490 euros), advertising (90,000 euros), chemical toilets (27,290 euros), cleaning (19,845 euros), and health assistance (14,900 euros).
The distribution of services covers a large part of Santa Cruz, including García Sanabria Park, Bulevar Park, Plaza del Príncipe, Alameda del Duque, Maritime Avenue, and the port esplanades. Some setup and dismantling work will begin days in advance and extend until October 6th.
The contracts already formalized total 161,928.23 euros before taxes. The projected economic volume, including the tenders, reaches 420,509.23 euros, not accounting for potential modifications or undocumented services.
