The deadline for these entities to submit their evaluation questionnaires is next October 19. After the individual communication of the provisional evaluation, they will have 15 days to submit appeals before the final resolution.
This process, which started on September 21, includes private entities that received over 60,000 euros in subsidies from the Canary Islands regional administration in 2025, or more than 100,000 euros in total from one or more Canary Islands public administrations. It also includes those whose public aid represents at least 30% of their annual income (40% if from multiple public administrations), provided such aid reaches at least 5,000 euros.
Regarding political parties, the evaluation is extended to those with insular and municipal representation, in addition to those already having parliamentary representation. The Commissioner is also advancing the census update for the most representative trade union and business organizations.
Obligated entities must publish information on their statutes, organizational structure, responsible personnel, whistleblowing channels, annual accounts, contracts, and received subsidies on their respective websites or the portal provided by the Commissioner. The goal is to facilitate public access to information on the management of public resources.
The evaluation will be conducted through T-Canaria, the tool that allows checking compliance with active publicity obligations. The new version includes identification via electronic certificate and improvements in the Assistance module to expedite query responses.
Additionally, the Private Entities Portal (canariastransparente.org) is maintained, a free tool that facilitates structured information publication and document conversion to open formats, in use since the 2024 fiscal year evaluation.
