ULL's Expert in Social Economy Degree Concludes with Government of Canarias Support

The Vice-Minister of Employment of the Government of Canarias, Isabel León, participated in the closing ceremony of the Expert Degree in Management of Social and Solidarity Economy Entities at the University of La Laguna (ULL), held at the General University Foundation.
The university degree, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Employment of the Government of Canarias, has received backing with a grant of 38,000 euros from the Canarian Employment Service (SCE). Representing the SCE was the Deputy Director of Promotion of Social Economy and Entrepreneurship, Francisco Santana.
During her speech, León highlighted the strategic importance of this training sector in the archipelago and reaffirmed the Ministry's commitment to sustainable employment, emphasizing that technical training is essential for collective entrepreneurship.
The postgraduate degree, delivered virtually and comprising 20 credits, has enabled about twenty students to delve into subjects such as the legal framework of social economy entities, social entrepreneurship, and management skills.
