The Consumer Confidence Index measures citizens' optimism about the current and future economic situation in the Canary Islands. Data is calculated from 'same', 'better', or 'worse' assessments, generating an index ranging from 0 to 200 points, where a value above 100 indicates more favorable than unfavorable opinions.
In the second quarter of 2026, the general index stood at 64.3 points, a decrease of 6.5 points compared to the previous quarter.
