The Nuestra Señora de La Antigua 2026 festivals reached their peak with the highly anticipated concert by Ráfaga, which brought together around 7,000 attendees. The Argentine band delivered a cumbia performance that had thousands singing and dancing in the Town Hall Square.
Mayor Juan Cabrera highlighted the large turnout, describing the atmosphere as "joyful, family-friendly, calm, and orderly, without incidents." He thanked the efforts of the Antigua Town Council's Festivals department and the Festival Commission, as well as the collaborating companies.
The Councilor for Festivals, Lucila Ruiz, stated that Ráfaga "did not disappoint" and gave their all in a nearly two-hour live concert, serving as the grand finale to their international tour ‘Camino del 30 Aniversario’ in Antigua (Fuerteventura). The unforgettable show featured hit songs such as Luna, Bésame, Maldito Corazón, and Mentirosa.
The festive night began with the Tributo a Mecamela concert, which also attracted many fans. Later, orchestras Kandela and Mecánica By Tamarindos kept the party going.
