The Antigua City Council, in collaboration with the Fuerteventura Cabildo, has established a new safe bus stop with a shelter in the Costa de Antigua industrial park, which will become operational next week.

This new infrastructure fulfills a historical demand from the workers of the industrial and commercial park, who sought a solution to guarantee their daily safety and accessibility.
The stop is strategically located on the sidewalk of the main access road to the park, facilitating direct bus access to the industrial warehouses and commercial premises. Mayor Juan Cabrera Peña highlighted that the new governing majority has made this demand a reality in just two weeks.
The Department of Transport of the Fuerteventura Cabildo has been responsible for setting up this stop, ensuring it is also accessible for people with reduced mobility.
