The Army, through the Canarias nº 50 Light Infantry Regiment and various musical units, rehearsed this Friday, September 4th, the commemorative parade for the Day of Our Lady of El Pino, which will take place on September 8th in the Villa Mariana of Teror.

The rehearsal took place during the morning in the Plaza del Pino and Calle Real, generating anticipation among attendees. The preparation for the event, which precedes the Solemn Mass, involves approximately 150 soldiers and will culminate on September 8th after the reception at the Casa de los Patronos de la Virgen of the King's representative and the Canary Islands Government President.
During the procession on the Day of El Pino, the War Band nº1 of the Canarias 16 Brigade, a section of the Canarias 50 Regiment, and a Gastadores Squad from the same regiment will accompany the parade. The presence of civil, diplomatic, and military authorities is customary at this event.
For many years, the Canarias 50 Infantry Regiment has upheld the tradition of honoring His Majesty the King's representative, the President of the Canary Islands Government, Fernando Clavijo, and the Virgen del Pino every September 8th in Teror.
