A group of young people from the municipality of Teror visited the La Fortaleza de Ansite Archaeological Site in Santa Lucía de Tirajana last Tuesday, August 18, concluding the day with leisure activities at the municipal pool.

The Youth Department of the Teror City Council organized an excursion for a group of young people from the municipality, which included a guided tour of the important archaeological site of Gran Canaria. During the visit, participants discovered part of the island's history, learned about different theories regarding La Fortaleza, and its role during the Castilian conquest.
After concluding the tour of the site and museum, the group traveled to the municipal pool in the town center of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, where they enjoyed a day of leisure and social activities.
This activity is part of the program “In summer, your connection point”, developed by the Youth Department during July and August, with the financial collaboration of the Department of Education and Youth of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria.
The program “In summer, your connection point” will conclude this Friday, August 21, with an activity at The Ninja Games. Future proposals include the Ping Pong Tournament on Saturday, August 22, and the Lucky Islands Camp next week at the Joaquín Blanco Sailing School.
