Teror releases printed program for the Fiesta del Pino 2026

The Teror City Council has made the printed program for the Fiesta del Pino 2026 available to citizens, detailing all events from August 21st to September 26th.

Starting Friday, August 21st, residents and visitors can find the Fiesta del Pino 2026 program at the Municipal Offices, the Tourist Information Office, and various establishments in the municipality. The program, covering August 21st to September 26th, is also available for download in PDF format on the municipal website.
Additionally, the Revista del Pino 2026 will be published next week, including vehicle passes for residents and for the 'El Hoyo' neighborhood, which must be cut out and displayed visibly on vehicles.
The schedule features a wide variety of festive and religious events. Highlights include the 58th El Pino Football Tournament, the Livestock Fair with Roman ploughing and milking demonstrations, the envite (card game) tournament, and the 'En Pie' Street Art Festival. The opening speech will be delivered by Dr. Luis Peña Quintana on August 28th.
Celebrations will continue with the 'En Pie' Street Art Festival until August 30th, the Flag Raising on September 1st, and the Children's Fiesta El Pino. The tourism promotion exhibition “Traditional Attire 18th – 19th Centuries” will also be inaugurated, along with the Traditional Gran Canaria Attire Parade.
September will bring events such as the Tenderete en El Pino, the PINITO FEST featuring Soge Culebra and Bejo, and concerts by Nena Daconte and Samuel Tosso (Manuel Carrasco tribute). The Descent of the Image of the Virgin will take place on September 5th.
On September 6th, the 34th Gran Canaria Folkloric Encounter will feature groups from various islands, followed by the ‘La Previa’ festival. September 7th will host the OFFERING ROMERÍA to Ntra. Sra. del Pino, broadcast live by RTVC and TVE, and the traditional Fireworks Display.
September 8th, the FEAST DAY OF NTRA. SRA. DEL PINO, will include masses, a procession, and a concert by ‘Seguridad Social’. From September 8th to 16th, the Solemn Novena will be held, with concerts including a Queen tribute and Cali & El Dandee.
On September 11th, the 37th Teresa de Bolívar Encounter will feature Joaquín Sánchez and Adán Moreno, and on September 12th, the II Romería del Timple and an encounter with Lila Downs. September 13th marks the DAY OF LAS MARÍAS with masses, a procession, and fireworks.
The program continues with the Teror City Council's Honors and Distinctions Ceremony on September 17th, and festivals featuring bands like ‘Bomba’. On September 19th, the 16th Weightlifting Championship and the 12th Solidarity Cycling March will take place.
Festivities will conclude on September 20th with masses and the Ascent of the Virgin to her shrine. September 24th will feature an Ornithology Day, and on September 25th and 26th, the 45th Rallye Villa de Teror will be held.
