The incident was reported at 1:34 PM, when the 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center received an alert regarding a person trapped under a construction tractor following the rollover.
Due to the severity of the event, an emergency response was launched, involving Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) ambulances, a medical helicopter, the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, as well as the Civil Guard, Local Police, and Civil Protection.
After being freed and stabilized by medical personnel, the victim was moved to a nearby soccer field for air evacuation. The man suffered a serious chest injury and was transported to the Dr. Negrín University Hospital of Gran Canaria.
