The Government of the Canary Islands has awarded the project for the construction of 200 new protected homes in Arrecife, on land ceded by the City Council, near those already under construction.

The decision, made through Viviendas Sociales e Infraestructuras de Canarias, has been awarded to the company Estudio Isoc, based in the island's capital, for a budget of approximately 600,000 euros.
It is anticipated that the document will be completed within approximately five months, although the selected entity will remain involved in the subsequent construction process once the buildings are put out to tender in lots.
The mayor of Arrecife, Yonathan de León, has positively received the regional Executive's decision, highlighting the capital's role as a leading municipality in Lanzarote and La Graciosa in the development of protected housing.
The new homes will feature garages and varied layouts, including properties with one and two bedrooms, as well as larger houses that could have up to four bedrooms.
