The city of Arrecife is preparing to host the first concert route of the Arrecife en Vivo 2026 festival, taking place this Friday, September 18. The event's traveling format will connect three stages in the historic center with a fourth main venue at the Cruise Terminal, aiming to balance the musical offering with residents' rest.
The day will begin at 6:00 PM in the Plaza de la Constitución (La Plazuela) with a performance by the Madrid rock quartet Hermana Furia, presenting their album ‘Rumias’. Subsequently, the band Artistas del Gremio will liven up the atmosphere leading to the next stage in the El Charco area, where the Galician group The Rapants will perform at 7:30 PM.
The route will continue towards the Marina Lanzarote, where at 9:00 PM, Repion will perform, a duo formed by sisters Tere and Marina Iñesta. The music will be followed by local musician Buli Panés, known as ‘Elvis del Dedo Amarillo’.
The closing of the first route will take place at 10:30 PM at the Cruise Terminal. Access to this venue, which will serve alcohol, will be restricted to individuals over 18 years old, in compliance with the Canary Islands' Entertainment Law. The alternative rock band Ultraligera will perform, and the night will conclude with music from radio host Ángel Carmona DJ with a selection of highly danceable tracks.
The organization of this first concert route is by Hsmith Solutions. The event is officially sponsored by the Tourism Department of the Arrecife City Council, the Cabildo de Lanzarote (through its Culture, Youth, Equality, Welfare, and Inclusion departments), SPEL, CACT, Promotur, and Proexca. Collaborators include Cajasiete, Grupo Chacón, Monster Energy, Radio 3, and Cadena Ser Lanzarote.
