The incident occurred around 09:45 AM when the Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert. Following the notification, the coordination center dispatched the necessary resources to attend to the affected individual.
The Canary Emergency Service (SUC) sent a medicalized ambulance to the scene. Healthcare personnel assessed the injured man, who presented with a moderate prognosis trauma at the initial stage of care.
Once stabilized, the healthcare professionals proceeded to transfer him via a basic life support ambulance to the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Lanzarote, where he was placed under the care of the medical services.
The Arrecife Local Police also responded to the scene to manage traffic in the area during the medical assistance and subsequently compiled the relevant report to clarify the circumstances of the collision.
