The Tías City Council is organizing the third edition of its Employment Fair, a consolidated event that, for the first time, will be held in Plaza El Pavón on Thursday, May 14, offering a full day of activities to foster employability and contact with the business sector.

The fair, which will run from 10:00 to 18:00 with free admission, aims to improve citizens' job opportunities and facilitate direct interaction with various companies. The program includes conferences and practical workshops designed to equip attendees with the necessary skills for today's market.
Among the highlighted activities, there will be talks on the impact of artificial intelligence on selection processes, job opportunities available in Lanzarote, and how to develop a competitive professional profile. A specific presentation will focus on the tourism sector, showcasing the wide variety of profiles and job positions offered by this key industry in the region.
Additionally, free practical workshops, requiring prior registration, will cover topics such as CV optimization, effective interview preparation, mental resilience during job searching, and re-entry into the labor market after a break.

"We are taking an important step by holding this fair in Tías, in a central and accessible space, reinforcing our commitment to employment in all areas of the municipality."

The decision to move the fair to Plaza El Pavón in the heart of Tías, after two previous editions in Puerto del Carmen, responds to the objective of bringing this initiative closer to the entire municipality, as stated by the municipal official.
