Mobility Week arrives in Tías with a program designed for the whole family, focusing on awareness about sustainable transport. The City Council has organized two intensive days, on September 22nd and 24th, which will take place in different parts of the municipality.
This year, the European initiative under the slogan “Mobility for People” has the official adhesion of the council, which signs the #MobilityWeek commitment charter for the eighth consecutive year. The mayor, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, along with councilors Carmen Gloria Rodríguez and Ismael Cruz, signed this environmental document.
The mayor highlighted the importance of the initiative: “It is an opportunity to remember that the way we move also has a lot to do with the municipality we want to build: a more accessible, safer municipality designed for people”.

The first day will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd, in Tegoyo, coinciding with Car-Free Day. Between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, an orientation and road safety race will be held, combining learning to use orientation tools with respect for traffic rules and pedestrian safety.
On Thursday, September 24th, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the celebration will move to the new Tajinaste Park. A scavenger hunt with interactive workshops and music will be organized there. The main attraction will be La Musicleta, a self-sufficient mobile stage powered by an electric bicycle that brings cultural shows ecologically.
