"This recognition demonstrates that the talent born in Fuerteventura has the capacity to go very far. From the Film Commission, we want to continue supporting initiatives that allow our young creators to showcase their work and forge a path in the audiovisual field."
“
"It is especially important that a project born in an educational context can have continuity and find exhibition spaces outside the island. Every selection and every award contributes to raising the visibility of the audiovisual talent we have in Fuerteventura."
Adargoma Hernández, the Minister of Education and Youth, highlighted the importance of the Mirafondo festival for students' practical learning and the development of their audiovisual proposals. He emphasized that the international success of ‘Cataysa’ validates the value of these training projects and the support for Fuerteventura's young talent.
