The incident occurred last Monday, June 8, in the town of El Matorral. The municipal force reported via their social media channels the arrest of the individual, who allegedly threatened his partner in the presence of her minor child.

In a separate incident on Tuesday afternoon, Local Police arrested another man, aged 38, after receiving alerts from several residents. The individual was found on La Venta street in the capital, disturbing public order and positioning himself in the middle of the road.

When officers attempted to interact with him to de-escalate his behavior and proceed with identification, the man attacked them, causing injuries to one officer and disobeying their instructions.

Consequently, he was arrested for the alleged commission of crimes of disobedience, resistance, and assault against law enforcement officers, and was subsequently handed over to judicial authorities.
