This contract aims to optimize the quality of care in the facilities managed by the Island Corporation, which provide a total of 90 places across the Island Residence, the centers in Puerto del Rosario and Gran Tarajal, and the Family Respite Program.
The new management model focuses on person-centered intervention, promoting the autonomy and self-determination of users. Each individual will have an Individualized Care Plan designed to adapt to their specific needs, ensuring an accessible environment and a comprehensive approach to their daily care.
The tender includes a significant increase in staff, raising the number of professionals from 62 to 74. The multidisciplinary team will include profiles such as speech therapists, pedagogues, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and healthcare staff, as well as domestic support and kitchen services.
Services covered by the contract range from accommodation and board to healthcare, support in daily activities, and the promotion of leisure, sports, and continuous learning activities. Interested parties may submit their applications until October 16 through the institution's electronic office.
