The Cabildo de Fuerteventura and the Ayuntamiento de Tuineje have held a technical commission to monitor works within the Insular Plan for Municipal Cooperation, approving funding for the Tarajalejo football field and advancing the Tesejerague pedestrianization.

The Insular Plan Commission met to report on the status of various works in the municipality of Tuineje. The Cabildo de Fuerteventura has agreed to allocate the necessary funds for the completion of the Tarajalejo Football Field, an initiative that is in its final stages, following a request from the local council.
Furthermore, updates were provided on the pedestrianization works in Tesejerague, which are 90% complete. The aim of this project is to enhance pedestrian mobility and safety, adapting the area to create an open-air promenade with paving, green spaces, safety measures, and improved public lighting. The plan also includes proper channeling of rainwater and an irrigation system for the planned vegetation.
The meeting also detailed completed works, such as the improvement of the road in the locality of Cardón and the demolition of an old storage tank and its adjacent facilities on Betancuria Street in Gran Tarajal.
Both the Cabildo de Fuerteventura and the Ayuntamiento de Tuineje emphasized the value of inter-administrative cooperation in carrying out improvements to infrastructure and public spaces for the benefit of citizens.
