Free Training for Young People in Gran Canaria

SPEGC and EOI launch four online courses to enhance the employability of young beneficiaries of Youth Guarantee.

The Society for Economic Promotion of Gran Canaria (SPEGC), in collaboration with the School of Industrial Organization (EOI), has launched a new free training program aimed at young people aged 16 to 29 who are beneficiaries of the National Youth Guarantee System.

This training package consists of four 100% online courses, designed for participants to develop personal, professional, and digital skills crucial for improving their employability. Registrations are now open on the SPEGC website.
The first course, "Learn to Communicate Your Talent to Get Hired," focuses on effective communication in professional environments, growth mindset, teamwork, and time management. It will begin on September 21, 2026.
Following that is "Create Your Personal Brand and Improve Your Digital Profile to Find Employment," which will help young people build a solid digital identity, use social media and AI to increase their visibility, and generate job opportunities. It is scheduled to start on September 28, 2026.
The third course, "Looking for a Job? Use AI to Your Advantage," will introduce the fundamentals of AI and language models, teaching prompt engineering skills with tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. It will commence on October 5, 2026.
Finally, "Keys to Successfully Pass a Job Interview" will prepare participants to define their professional goals, improve their CVs and cover letters, and excel in interviews within an increasingly competitive market. This course will start on October 19, 2026.
