Gran Canaria Swim Week 2026 is gearing up for its next edition, scheduled from June 24-27, with a renewed focus on internationalization, beauty, and well-being.

The countdown for Gran Canaria Swim Week 2026 has begun following a launch event in Madrid. The upcoming edition of this significant European swimwear event will concentrate on the connection between swimwear, self-care, confidence, and healthy habits.
The change in dates, from June 24-27, 2026, aims to better align with the bathing season and wholesale purchasing cycles, thereby strengthening its international positioning. The opening event will be held in an outdoor location on the island, highlighting the landscape of Gran Canaria as a central element.
Minerva Alonso, Minister of Economic Development for the Cabildo, emphasized the runway's importance as a platform to showcase the island's specialization in swimwear. She highlighted how Canarian brands present to the world "part of our culture, our way of being, and our landscape," reinforcing the sector's unique identity. The event is supported by public investment exceeding three million euros, boosting the island's economy through Gran Canaria Moda Cálida.
The fashion show schedule will bring together designers and brands from Gran Canaria, as well as national and international names. The opening day, Wednesday, June 24, will take place at Perchel Beach Club, merging fashion and the sea. Participating brands include Maldito Sweet (Gran Canaria), Gogana (Seville), Alexandra Miró (United Kingdom), and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada (Madrid).
On subsequent days, at Expomeloneras, designers from various Canary Islands such as Isla Bonita Moda (La Palma), Macaronesia (Lanzarote), Ananas Wear (La Gomera), Waiola (Tenerife) will present their collections, alongside national brands like Bohodot (Barcelona), Elena Morales (Gran Canaria), Dolores Cortés (Valencia), Nuria González (Gran Canaria), and international names such as Dan Ward (Italy), Melissa Odabash (United Kingdom), and Banana Moon (Monaco).
Among the new features, the presence of renowned models such as Rocío Crusset, with a solid international career and significant digital impact, and Argentine model Valentina Ferrer, a global influencer, stands out. Fashion influencer Leonie Hanne will also participate, reflecting the event's growing internationalization, supported by 16 sponsoring brands.
