Club Voleibol Emalsa Gran Canaria and player Jessica Goyanes have reached an agreement for the receiver to continue with the club through the 2026-2027 season. Goyanes, who established herself in the first team last season, will face a new campaign with the club.
The club highlighted that the previous season was "marked by her sporting and personal growth," during which she took "important steps forward in her development, showing great learning capacity and an exemplary attitude." Her progress was particularly evident in the final stretch of the season, when she stepped in for the injured captain Saray Manzano, responding with "personality, commitment, and great adaptability."
The club emphasizes that her "work attitude, willingness to keep learning, and constant growth make her one of the players with the most potential within the yellow project." With this renewal, CV Emalsa Gran Canaria reaffirms its commitment to "young talent and the development of players dedicated to the values of effort, work, and self-improvement."
Goyanes's renewal joins contract extensions for Laura Suárez, Belly Meñana, and Petra Indrová, as well as the signings of libero Marga Pizà, Magui Frías, and Jéssica Akamere. On the other hand, Ajack Malual, Blanca Arcos, Fernanda Maida, Marina Scherer, Katie Corelli, and Meg Brown have departed.
