ULPGC Appoints New Leadership in Several Academic Areas

Rector Lluís Serra Majem oversaw the inauguration of directors, secretaries, and sub-directors for Tele-education, Telecommunication Engineering, and Legal Sciences.

The rector of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC), Lluís Serra Majem, accompanied by Secretary General Inmaculada González Cabrera, presided over the official appointments of several management positions in various academic areas on Wednesday, July 22.

Within the Tele-education Structure, Dionisio Rodríguez Esparragón took office as Director, Javier Cruz Norro as Secretary, and as Sub-directors: Arminda María Teresa Álamo Bolaños (Quality), Mónica Avelina Pellejero Silva (Academic Planning and Communication), Enrique Castro López-Tarruella (Virtual Campus), and Margarita Esther Sánchez Cuervo (Mobility and International Relations).
Meanwhile, at the School of Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering, Juan Bautista Ruiz Alzola was appointed Director, with Elsa María Macías López as Secretary. The Sub-director positions were filled by Carmen Nieves Ojeda Guerra (Academic Planning), Sofía Martín González (Economy, Infrastructure, and Quality), and Moisés Díaz Cabrera (Students, Equality, Mobility, and External Internships).
In the Faculty of Legal Sciences, Yazmina Gloria Araujo Cabrera assumed the role of Vice-Dean for Quality and Educational Innovation.
Finally, at the University Institute of Environmental Studies and Natural Resources, Pedro Sosa Henríquez was designated as Director, and Dunia Santiago García as Secretary.
