The protest, organized by the collective Derecho al Techo (Right to Shelter), traversed the streets of the Schamann area in the Gran Canarian capital.
Organizers estimated the attendance at over 600 participants, who raised their voices to demand access to affordable housing and the protection of urban areas against speculation.
