MMT FEST 2026 has commenced in Maspalomas with an inaugural evening titled 'NOMAD by MMT' at Sala Scala Gran Canaria, marking the start of five days dedicated to music, fashion, and performance.

This year's edition of MMT FEST officially kicked off with an exclusive experience named 'NOMAD by MMT', held at Sala Scala Gran Canaria. The event brought together guests, artists, and participants of the International Singers Contest for an evening where music, gastronomy, and performance were the central themes.
During the evening, NOMAD was unveiled, the new immersive show by Sala Scala, which premiered on May 28th. This production aims to explore the rich culture of the Canary Islands and its historical connections with Europe, Africa, and America through various artistic disciplines and a remarkable staging.
The contestants for the MMT 2026 International Singers Contest were a focal point, delivering their initial performances to the audience. Artists on stage included Zac Costa (Cuba), Zektor (Venezuela), Paula Trejo (Gran Canaria), Runa (Barcelona), Natalia Bracho (Málaga), Jorge del Hierro (San Roque, Cádiz), Ruenda (Palma de Mallorca), Harley Kusa (Belgium), Laura Bera (Asturias), IAM Campillo (Madrid), and Tina Cruz (Colombia), highlighting the festival's international character.
