The finals day of the ABT Canarias Lucha Canaria League, held at the Terrero Amado Díaz Guillén, concluded with Santa Rita winning the Senior and Youth categories, and the team Los Guanches taking the Promotion title.
The Promotion final was the most hard-fought, with Los Guanches narrowly defeating Santa Rita by 13-11. The score was tied at 11-11 when Evania Vega (Los Guanches) scored a crucial point by causing the disqualification of Ivy Mesa (Santa Rita) due to accumulated warnings, making it 12-11. The final victory came in the last bout, where Regina Ezeagu (Los Guanches) forced her opponent, Daniela Izquier (Santa Rita), to be disqualified on warnings, securing the championship for her team.
In the Senior category, Santa Rita demonstrated their dominance by clearly beating Maninidra with a score of 8-22. The capital-based team controlled the final from the outset, showing great collective superiority and widening the gap to become champions of Gran Canaria, adding this title to the one they won the previous week in the DISA Gobierno de Canarias Tournament.
The day concluded with the Youth final, where Santa Rita once again showcased the strength of their youth system by defeating Almogarén 12-22. The team replicated the solidity shown in the senior final, dominating the match and securing their second title of the morning.
With these results, Los Guanches are crowned champions of the ABT Canarias Lucha Canaria Promotion League, while Santa Rita completes a brilliant double by lifting the titles in the Senior and Youth categories.
