The Plaza de la Música in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will be the venue for the third edition of ExpoDeca 2026, from November 12 to 15, paying tribute to traditional Canary Islands games and sports.

The Canary Islands Activity and Sports Fair, ExpoDeca 2026, will hold its third edition from November 12 to 15 at the Plaza de la Música in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The event will place a special emphasis on traditional Canary Islands games and sports, including Canarian latina sailing with boats and barquillos, Canarian wrestling, Canarian ball, stick fighting, shepherd's leap, and stone and plow lifting.
Canarian latina sailing will have a prominent presence with the exhibition of barquillos and a boat at the Plaza del Espigón. The vessels can be visited on Thursday and Friday from 10:30 to 13:00 and from 16:30 to 19:00 hours, and on Saturday and Sunday during specific hours. On Sunday, a regatta will take place off the coast of Real Club Victoria, in La Puntilla, organized in collaboration with the Canarian Latina Sailing Federation.
The Canary Islands Ball Federation will organize the regional President's Cup for Canarian ball on Saturday morning, in addition to exhibition sessions throughout the four days of the fair. The shepherd's leap will also feature exhibitions and outreach by the Canary Islands Shepherd's Leap Federation.
The Canarian Wrestling Federation and the Canary Islands Stick Fighting Federation will have their own spaces, offering exhibitions and activities during all days of the fair. Exhibitions of stone and plow lifting will complete the offering of traditional sports.
ExpoDeca 2026, which aims to promote sports practice and healthy habits, will offer free admission and a wide program of guided activities, as well as official competitions in disciplines such as football, handball, fencing, and sailing. The event will also include an exhibition area for sports brands and talks at the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium.
The fair is promoted by the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, Physical Activity and Sports, and organized by the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, through Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria. It is supported by various entities and companies as sponsors.
