Two men, both around 40 years old, were injured, one seriously, after a taxi collided with a roundabout on the GC-500 road, at kilometer 13, in San Bartolomé de Tirajana.

The incident occurred on October 6th around 11:00 PM. The Canary Islands Government's Emergency and Safety Coordinating Center (CECOES) 112 received an alert from the National Police about the collision.
National Police, the Canary Emergency Medical Service (SUC), the Fire Extinction and Rescue Service of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, and the Local Police were dispatched to the scene. Firefighters secured the vehicle and cleared the road.
SUC medical personnel attended to the two affected individuals. One, suffering from severe polytrauma, was stabilized and transported by a medicalized ambulance to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria. The second injured person, with moderate trauma, was evacuated by a basic ambulance to the same hospital.
The Local Police regulated traffic in the area and initiated the corresponding report, while the National Police collaborated in the emergency response.
