The Hospital Universitario de La Palma hosted several classical and baroque music recitals this Wednesday by the ensemble Capriccio Antico, an initiative that brings music closer to patients, professionals, and users.

Patients, professionals, and families enjoyed a new edition of this initiative, framed within the programming of the Impulso Festival organized by the Cabildo de La Palma.
Capriccio Antico offered several musical interventions in different areas of the hospital center, with a classical and baroque repertoire performed on historical instruments.
This activity, in which the Hospital Universitario de La Palma has collaborated for another year, aims to take music beyond usual stages, bringing it closer to social, educational, and residential centers on the island, and contributes to improving the emotional well-being of attendees.
In this sixth edition of the festival, the ensemble performed works by composers such as George Frideric Handel, Georg Muffat, Antonio Vivaldi, Henry Purcell, and Johann Sebastian Bach in the Dialysis, Intensive Care, Palliative Care, Mental Health, and Day Hospital units.
