The 2026 edition of the Sonidos Líquidos festival, scheduled for June 7th at Bodegas La Geria, anticipates full capacity with a notable influx of visitors from off the island.

The main event of Sonidos Líquidos will take place on June 7th at the renowned Bodegas La Geria in Yaiza. Capacity is expected to be similar to 2025, with fewer than 2,700 attendees, prioritizing environmental care. A key highlight presented for the event is that 70% of the audience will be from outside Lanzarote.
Attendees will enjoy performances by artists such as Ginebras, The Molotovs, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana, Ángel Stanich, Nortec: Bostich + Fussible, Go Cactus, La 126, and DJ Dara Ortega. The band Good Franco, winner of the Sonora festival, will also be featured. The festival will offer over ten hours of music, complemented by local wine and island gastronomy, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Organizers have stressed the importance of using public transport to attend the event, with tickets available online. Road closures on the LZ-30, from the junction with the LZ-501 to the junction with Uga (Calle El Morro), have been announced.
Prior to the main event, Sonidos Líquidos will expand its cultural program. On Thursday, June 4th, the Sala Buñuel at CIC El Almacén will screen 'Taxi Driver' with a live soundtrack by Zabala, in collaboration with the Lanzarote International Film Festival. On Friday, June 5th, there will be a wristband collection, a DJ set, and a concert by Ángela González in the same venue.
Additionally, a special event will be held on June 28th in La Graciosa, in partnership with the Líneas Romero Foundation and the UNESCO World Geopark Lanzarote and Chinijo Archipelago. This event will coincide with European Geoparks Week and will include a special catamaran trip and a performance by Los Blody in Caleta del Sebo.
Sonidos Líquidos is organized by Arenao Producciones and sponsored by the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Turismo de Islas Canarias, SPEL -Turismo Lanzarote, Centros de Arte, Cultura y Turismo, Yaiza City Council, Consejo Regulador de la D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote, and Lava Live Fest. Collaborators include Grupo Chacón, Relaxia Resorts, Sonora, Lumar Mantenimiento, and Tickety, with funding from the European Union - NextGenerationEU.
Neftalí Acosta, the festival's director, highlighted the pursuit of balance between respecting the territory and offering a high-quality cultural experience, emphasizing the value of the landscape, wines, and local products in a sustainable manner. He noted that the festival attracts a medium-to-high profile visitor who appreciates Lanzarote's uniqueness.
Oswaldo Betancort, the island's president, stated that Sonidos Líquidos perfectly embodies the event model desired for Lanzarote: a quality cultural proposal linked to the landscape and local products, respecting the territory, projecting the island's image, and generating economic and tourist returns. He pointed out that the high percentage of visitors from outside the island demonstrates Lanzarote's capacity to attract tourists through culture and authentic experiences.
The mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, emphasized the synergy between La Geria and Sonidos Líquidos as a cultural, promotional, and economic driver for the municipality and the island, stressing the public responsibility to promote viable and sustainable events.
Jorge Rodríguez, president of the D.O. Vinos de Lanzarote Regulatory Council, reiterated support for the festival since its inception, believing in the union of music and wine to position the product and Lanzarote as a destination, bringing the island's landscape and identity closer to visitors.
Miguel Ángel Rodríguez, Director General of Tourism Planning, Training, and Promotion for the Government of the Canary Islands, highlighted Turismo de Canarias's strong support for the festival for its exemplary integration of music, enogastronomy, landscape, and identity, making it a benchmark cultural event. He noted its significant economic impact, reaching three million euros last year, and mentioned that since 2021, Turismo de Canarias has allocated nearly 19.7 million euros to sponsor 253 music festivals across the islands.
