The Puntallana City Council has presented its 2026/2027 Sports Promotion program, which includes nine sports modalities to encourage physical activity and healthy habits among residents.

The municipality of Puntallana, through its Sports area and in collaboration with Puntallana Deporte Activo and the Sports area of the Cabildo de La Palma, has launched the Puntallana Sports Promotion 2026/2027 program. This initiative aims to bring sports closer to citizens, promote healthy lifestyles, and foster values such as camaraderie, effort, and respect.
The sports offering covers various disciplines adapted to different ages and levels, and will take place in different municipal spaces. The included modalities are: Cycling (Mondays and Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at CEIP Puntallana), Climbing (Mondays and Fridays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Municipal Climbing Wall), Athletics (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at CEIP Puntallana), Psychomotricity (Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at CEIP Puntallana).
Completing the offer are Bola Canaria (Wednesdays and Fridays from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Annex Field of the City Council), Rhythmic Gymnastics (Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Casa de la Cultura), Basketball (Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at CEIP Puntallana), Football 8 pre-benjamin (Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Football Fields of La Camacha and Llano Clara), and Chess (Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Old Health Center).
The council encourages families and residents to participate, highlighting the combination of individual and team disciplines as a tool for well-being and coexistence.
