These courses, organized in collaboration with the ACUP (Canarian Association of Popular Universities) and through the Education Department of the Gáldar City Council, cover a wide array of subjects and durations. The Councilor for Education, Rita María Cabrera Cruz, highlighted that the Gáldar City Council covers 50% of the cost for enrollment or monthly fees for all courses, a discount already reflected in the advertised prices.
Among the educational proposals are 'Passion for Cooking' and 'Art in Dough & Sweets', which will be held in the kitchen classroom of the Casa de la Juventud. The 'Introduction to Knitting Techniques' courses will be distributed across various neighborhood associations in Palma de Rojas, La Punta, and Piso Firme. 'Patchwork' will take place at the AV El Bermejal in Marmolejos, while 'Beauty Makeup' will be held at the AV Amagro in Barrial. The 'DIY' course will be offered at the old school in Sardina, and 'Introduction to Ceramics' also at the AV Amagro in Barrial.
Additionally, short-term courses are available, such as 'Food Handling', scheduled for October 20th and 21st at the Sardina Senior Club. For new participants, the 'Sewing' course date is pending. More specialized training is also planned, including 'Pruning and Grafting Fruit Trees' at the El Labrador Neighbors Association in San Isidro (from November 10th to 13th) and the 'Porter' course at the Gáldar Senior Club (from December 15th to 18th).
