The Mayor of Gáldar, Teodoro Sosa, and the Councilor for Senior Policy, Dolores Delgado, visited José García Moreno and Juana Pérez Jiménez, a couple from the Los Quintana neighborhood celebrating over 70 years of marriage.

The visit, which took place at the couple's home on Camino Laguete street, lasted for nearly an hour. During the meeting, the authorities shared a pleasant conversation with García Moreno and Pérez Jiménez, who were born in 1930 and 1933, respectively.
José García Moreno, the eldest of eight siblings, and Juana Pérez Jiménez, who has four sisters, care for each other in their home. The mayor and councilor inquired about their personal experiences and the memories accumulated over more than seven decades of life together.
