The event, which starts at 9:00 PM with free admission until full capacity is reached, is part of the programming organized for the Canary Islands Day. The proposal aims to take a journey through the cultural roots of the Archipelago through a performance that integrates music, tradition, and festive elements from various islands.
The artistic direction is led by a renowned producer who has brought together a cast of prominent figures from the regional music scene. Participants include well-known soloists, timple players, and accordionists, accompanied by folk groups and local bands that will provide the authentic sound of the islands.
One of the most anticipated moments of the evening will be the participation of the traditional 'caballitos de fuego', an iconic element of the Santiago Festivals. In addition, the repertoire will include emblematic songs of Canarian popular music, presented through instrumental versions and a cappella performances designed to offer an immersive experience to the audience.
The initiative, which has already been successful in other parts of the islands such as Lanzarote or Tenerife, is supported by the Government of the Canary Islands, through the Canarian Institute of Cultural Development, and in collaboration with the Gáldar City Council.
