The Agáldar Museum of City History celebrates its 5th anniversary with a program of cultural activities for all ages, including workshops, a children's show, and a jazz concert, as part of the Santiago Major Festivals.

The Agáldar Museum of City History has opened its doors to commemorate its 5th anniversary with a series of cultural events aimed at all ages. These activities are part of the program for the 543rd Santiago Major Festivals, organized by the Culture and Festivals department of the Gáldar City Council.
The celebrations kicked off on Wednesday, July 8th, with a performance by Pino Quimont & Augusto Báez, who presented a jazz repertoire featuring genre standards, original compositions, and pieces of great interpretive sensitivity. The concert explored various musical atmospheres, from swing and bebop to ballads, bossa nova, and blues.
Friday morning included the Sonoro Laboratory, a sensory activity for babies aged 0 to 3 years, led by Laura Bosa. Concurrently, two simultaneous workshops were held for older audiences: the Art Workshop for children aged 4 to 9, led by Laura Iballa, and the Embroider the Museum project, aimed at those over 9 years old with artist Ody Companioni, where participants were challenged to create portraits using threads.
The circus and magic show El Show de Tadeo concluded the morning's events, designed and coordinated by Ocho Pies, an organization with 10 years of experience in cultural and educational services for children.
The complete program of events, including schedules and locations, is available at galdar.es and on the @culturagaldar account.
